Language & Interpreter Services

Together, we must make language assistance servicesavailable to people with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) at all points of contact during all hours of operation and at no cost to our members. We are here to help get language assistance to Peach State Health Plan members and providers without unreasonable delay at all vital points of contact. You can schedule language services, including telephone and face-to-face interpretation for non-English languages and American Sign Language, by calling our Provider Services number or by calling the toll-free number  on the back of our member ID card.  

Primary Languages Spoken in Georgia

Peach State Health Plan (Medicaid) members speak more than 15 languages. In 2024, 90% of  Georgia residents reported English as their preferred language, and 10%  prefer Spanish according to U.S. Census Data. 95% of Peach State Health Plan members reported English as their preferred language and 5%  preferred Spanish.

Visit the Provider Portal to access important member information such as your patient’s language preferences. Not sure of your patient’s language? Click on Language Assistance in the footer at the bottom of our  website and have the member point to their language. If it’s not  listed, you can work with the interpreter service to identify the right  language.
